Can't see hidden files in FTP program |

| This is by design, but there is a workaround. If you can't see hidden files in your FTP program, you can need to enter a "Remote File Mask" (CuteFTP and WS_FTP support this. other progams may as well). In WS_FTP for example, it is located in the 'Session Properties" area. Enter a remote file mask of '-a' and it will list all files including hidden ones. REMEMBER: The files were hidden for a reason. Exercise caution when manipulationg or editing any hidden files as it could cause problems for your account! |
